Park Hills Civic Association Board Members

Jill Chalfant
President

Jill was born and raised in Northern Kentucky.  After graduating from Villa Madonna Academy, she continued her education at Northern Kentucky University. Shortly after graduating, she and her husband, Eric, married and settled in Park Hills.  Impressed with the seasonal events of the city, Jill decided to volunteer her time with the Civic Association.  She volunteered for the Egg Hunt of 2008 and has not slowed down since. She took over as Civic Association president in January of 2009.  Jill and Eric welcomed their first child, Hailey in September of 2009.

Shannon Gemeinhardt
Vice President

Shannon and her husband Greg moved from Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Park Hills in 2005.  Shannon stays busy raising their 3 year old son and 8 month old daughter and also works part time at Silverlake Family Place teaching gymnastics. Shannon first became involved with the civic association by joining the Hospitality Committee and helping with events such as the Easter Egg Hunt and Christmas in the Park.  She became vice president  in January 2009.  Shannon enjoys working on events for the civic association because it brings neighbors together.

Amy Lantz
Treasurer

Amy Lantz has been the Treasurer for the Park Hills Civic Association since 2006.  She moved to Park Hills in 2004 and she and her husband Chris live on St. Joseph Lane.  Amy and Chris are active in helping with the planning of many PHCA events.  Amy also represents the Civic Association as a member of the Village Green Committee.

Amy is an Investment Advisor and Assistant Vice President with PNC Wealth Management and Chris is an Estimator for Valley Interior Systems.

Carol Bethel
Secretary

Carol is currently serving as the Recording Secretary for the Park Hills Civic Association and the President of the Avant Gardeners. Her past work with the Civic Association includes Publicity Chair, coordinating the Children’s Christmas Party, and assistance with Civic Association events such as the Memorial Day Bake sale, holiday decorations, and Luminary Night.

Carol is Associate Professor of Business Studies at Gateway Community and Technical College, Covington campus. Although Carol grew up in Ohio and is a former “buckeye”, she is proud to call Kentucky home is a dedicated “wildcat” fan.
