Summer Picnic

Summer is over. Church festivals have come and gone and school is back in session. But that doesn't mean we can't still enjoy the nice weather and socialize with our friends and neighbors. The annual Park Hills Picnic is Saturday, September 11th in Trolley Park. This family friendly event will have something for everyone! Hot dogs, burgers, soft drinks, water, and lemonade will be sold for 1 ticket (tickets are 50 cents each). The Civic Association will be providing beer until the keg floats. Thanks to the Civic Association and Cork N’ Bottles donation of the
beer. (You might be asked to show your ID if you look suspiciously young!) Please bring a side dish or dessert to share with your neighbors. There will be a Bake Off with prizes for the winners! We will also have fun and games for kids of all ages! Face painting, skee ball, and of course corn hole can be enjoyed by all. And what is a picnic without live music? We will be featuring two local bands for your enjoyment. The festivities will be from 4PM-8PM, rain or shine. If you have not renewed or joined the Park Hills Civic Association, this will be a great time to do so. Remember: your dues fund events like the Park Hills Picnic, Christmas in the Park, and the Memorial Day parade. Without your help, none of these events can happen.

Annual Picnic Bake-Off

Calling all bakers! We need your best, most creative, or craziest dessert for our Bake Off at the Annual Park Hills Picnic.Judges will decide winners in 3 categories: best overall, most creative, and most unexpected. Prizes will be awarded to the 3 winners. Judging will begin promptly at 5:00 pm in Trolley Park. Please check in at the dessert table by 4:45 to register your dessert.
